maybe every couple months
i can go over there and use it whenever
prob better not to have it in my dining room, least i have to go over there with a plan

k
i just moved my cnc to friends garage
=\
shes grown up, moving away
need room
this guy is cool, too
its a taig
like 12x6"
nothing
prob putting bunch of music gear there for now

neat
this thing will be off prob .01 on rainy days
we make fixtures out of that stuff
the wood

you need to consider sub-mil swarf mixed with lubricant and machine oil
its basically fine metallic paint
unless your shit includes a housing with squeegees i would avoid optical solutions
what like opto isolators?
optical base transistors, optical diodes, some modules, what
yeah if it wasnt made for machine tools i wouldnt fuck with it
use for safety alarm switches on enclosure shields or something

more capacitance can kill noise
with high impedance sources (like microphones and instruments and shit) long runs of high capacitance cable will roll off the top end of audio spectrum
thats why capacitance is undesirable

doubt it makes much difference in this app
the thinner cable might be twisted tighter
if thats what youre shopping for
yeah but tightness of the twist makes a difference
it might be why the mogami has more inductance
also smaller awg is prob more flexible
i have a bunch of the smaller diamater stuff
came out of mogami patch pay cable, like 24 balanced channels
er more capacitance

70 vs 90?
if you use it for turntable outputs to RIAA preamp input, and its much more than a meter, maybe
anything else, no prob not
fuck it prob helps
get the mogami
get it just because its mogami

_unreal_: i know! so i bought it
sculptor: wow @ glitchy house
iunno like $20 for 3 years

the product guy says he needs an LED right next to where you wanted to put the rails for your high frequency amp
you cant just say like, WAT YOURE FUCKIN UP MY LAYOUT MAN
theyll want it to be RGB with PWM

MINE
the guy with squirrel mail is gone

youre basically moving the heat to another set of transistors for higher level output
but theyre off during normal operation, so you dont get hit with low efficiency for the extra headroom
yeah you spend money on the power supply
this is always the case with chipamps
you can bridge and parallel them
so you could prob turn it into a 400W amp no problem
i think it has slightly lower voltage rating
yeah
theyre popular in active PA gear
ST stuff is used a ton in PA and studio active stuff
ive done chipamps a ton
its how i started pcb layout
pfft
bigger caps, more star ground, fatter rails
app layouts are usually pussy, single sided shit
every once in awhile i swear its like, YOU CAN LAY THIS OUT THIS BAD, LIKE YOU DONT GIVE A FUCK, AND ITLL STILL GET THESE SPECS!
but that ends up happening a lot in commercial layouts

its kind of like, when is a compressor a limiter or a limiter a compressor
its not as efficient as class-d
but its ab-output
just psu tricks
you can do SMPS that track signal, boost rails on an AB amp when needed
which is kind of hybrid
class-d is amazing, but its not sexy
http://www.st.com/internet/imag_video/product/75596.jsp
click datasheet, page 13
most oif the amplifier related circuits are built into the chip in that schematic
so the transistors and zener near the output are class-g rail switching

haha fuck yeah
<3 ST
so im like, WOW WHAT IF I DID LIKE BRIDGE OR PARALLEL TDA7293
(100w chipamp)
datasheet is like YEAH YOU CAN BRIDGE AND PARALLEL ME!
so im like BRIDGE PARALLEL PARALLEL PARALLEL FUCK YEAH
THEN IM GONNA CLASS-G IT
next page HI THIS IS CLASS-G APPLICATION CIRCUIT AND LAYOUT
me: =O =O =O =O
sculptor: hi, ya fuck class-g
er
class-d FUCK CLASS-D
<3 CLASS-G
!
sculptor: rail switching
you run the amps at a low voltage rail
then when you see hotter signal coming in, you either switch to a higher voltage rail, or you follow the signal and keep a constant headroom voltage on your output transistors
class-g and class-h are similar, and arguable a lot of implimentation are in between or both
