i think they are basically cruise missiles + pilot babysitter w/ manual visual targeting
but my understanding is the lag is up to seconds
like they cant really use visuals for instant control feedback, they have to know what their inputs are going to do
so basically, find gamers with shit internet, you have your soldier
anyway i think the pilots are mostly a legal way to say they arent flying autonomous weapons
